If I fall, I try a little harder and get back up
We all make mistakes, but to let those flaws and failures drive us to despair is the worst medicine. No one is perfect. That's a given. Yet we all have potential to be something more. Tripping and lying there isn't going to help us. Of course not. If we get up and forge ahead, cutting down obstacles in our path, that's progress. We're all, each and every one of us, capable of that. Great and small, short and tall, every human being can make up for past failings. Continuing to let them destroy our self-esteem only undermines our inner beauty, marring it. If we could just see how much our natures glow with the brightness of a hidden sun, we would work our hardest to make it shine continually, each moment of our lives.
Take our lessons from the past, as she is the best teacher. How would anyone have achieved anything by allowing themselves to stumble and keep on falling into that black hole of misery? Digging ourselves a deep well is not a healthy option. But we can fly if we grow the wings, letting those elegant, breezy feathers sprout from our shoulders like a downy cloak. The next time you fall flat on your face, remember that. Get right back up and slip that easy smile onto your lips, bringing that sunny disposition to life. It works like a charm, even if it's tough.
